Introduction
Glad to be invited to join! North County cachers don't always make it to the more southern events, but it's good to know what's going on and try to schedule time.
What's the neatest cache you've done so far?

There are good ones for different reasons. Loved BadgerPOET for the camo, had fun scrambling after Badger Bridge. Don't Rattle Me made me laugh out loud. Just Do It was a quick adrenaline rush. I love most of the caches that bring me somewhere new.

When and how did you first learn about geocaching?

Read about geocaching a couple of years ago in a dog magazine. It was being promoted as a fun thing to do with your dog. The whole concept intrigued me, but I didn't know how to get started till I finally met someone who was actually doing it.

What kind of GPS device do you have, if you have one?

Garmin Legend Csx and Garmin eTrex something.

How long have you been geocaching?

Found my first cache on January 14, 2007. It's been downhill ever since.

How many times have you gone geocaching?

Does thinking about it and planning it count, too? If so, it's in my brain every day, much of the day.

  •  Thanks for the greeting. Now I have Bubba and Icon; so watch out world. They are playing nicely together though. Still working on my sleep, but Bubba is settling in at night just a little slower than the others.

  •  I tried to look at the calendar and it wouldn't let me? Not sure why. I'm getting the notifications just fine though. I got the page to signup when I tried to look at the calendar.

  •  Hi Laurie,
Thank you! Yes, the photo was taken by Tonya Perme (www.tonyaperme.com)--I won a pet photography package at a CCI silent auction in San Francisco last year. Those are my 3 CCI girls who have turned in so far (L-R): Viela II, Lark III, and Chie.

  •  Thank you for doing all this organizing! What a fun group. Yes, Lura will likely miss a few meetings until she's back to her old self. I will emphasize "be" the nut we don't want a repeat of this experience. She was looking pretty pitiful last night when I went over to sit with her. We went out for a little walk on the side walk to start clearing the drugs out of her system and get her moving. Then she was happy to crawl back in her kennel with her teddy bear. Sure not the Lura we saw on Sunday
