It seems to me that there might be some people out there that would like to learn about geocaching. I am going to try and set up some hikes in the area where I can introduce small groups to this fun outdoor activity. ( I will limit this first hike to 6 ) Weekend meetups to come later.

The first area will be in the hills, south-east of Poway. The hike is about 5 miles and you will find 10-12 caches. Please bring water and wear hiking boots. If you have a GPS, great, bring it along. If not, I have two that we can share. I will load the geocaches on my two, but if you want a list of the caches we will be looking for e-mail me and I will send you a list.

It would be great if you were to already have a membership. That way you will be able to log the finds when you get home. If you don't have a membership, go to geocaching.com and click on the getting started tab. ( It's free, why not )

We'll meet in the parking lot and take as few cars as possible to the trail head. It's a public street but I don't want to fill it up.
