Geocaching is a modern-day treasure hunt. All you need is a GPS device or join someone with a GPS device. If you like hiking, treasure hunting, the outdoors, and being a little bit of a geek, then geocaching may be for you!

The Geocaching San Diego Meetup Group aims to gather local enthusiasts and people that are just curious to discuss geocaching and go on hunting trips around San Diego and perhaps beyond.

Remember, you don't have to personally have a GPS. You can join in one of our searches and someone will have one. But the more GPSes we have, the more accurate we can be with the 'treasures'.

It is always fun to meet and laugh with people even MORE obsessed with geocaching than I am!
